Admission Policy and Procedure

 

Admission of students to university is open exclusively for girls. Applications for admission on the prescribed forms are invited through advertisements in the daily newspapers. The prospectus and application forms are available from the admission office at the main entrance of the university.

Only students passing HSC or equivalent examination/graduation with at least 45% marks shall be eligible to apply for admission to various programmes offered by the university, except for Pharm-D programme, for which the eligibility criteria shall be 60% marks in HSC(pre- medical) examination. Duly completed application forms with attested copies of SSC, HSC or B.A / B.Sc. marks certificates must be submitted on or before the last date for submission of the forms. Incomplete application forms shall not be processed. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview. All original documents except the marks certificates of the last examination shall be returned to the candidate. Admissions are granted on merit, determined by the applicant's previous academic record and aptitude test/interview. List of provisionally selected applicants shall be displayed after interview. The fee should be deposited within seven days. In case of default, the applicant shall forfeit the claim for admission. Admission to the university shall be cancelled if the student provides false information or fails to submit the required documents/certificates within the specified time.
