I submit my humble gratitude at the threshold of Almighty for his bestowal of me to be the son of Al-Haj Moulvi Rayazuddin Ahmed. He was a goodhearted generous person blessed with deep insight. He realized the important role of educated females in the future. With this sacred aim he arose to use the tool of education to empower women. With his pure innate intention to serve the cause of girl education he started establishing educational institutions.

The establishment of Jinnah University for Women was indeed a great accomplishment. Teaching and training is like carefully nurturing of a plant, by a Gardner, to produce better fruit. In addition to the knowledge of different subjects; the students must be trained in morals and good conduct, which is far more important than book learning.

The mission of Jinnah University for Women is to empower girls, through quality education, to enable them to serve their family, their country and the people of the World without any inequity. As you know, Jinnah University for Women is situated in the heart of the city and disseminating knowledge to every corner of Karachi Metropolitan making the education affordable.

I am also gratefully thankful to all the faculty members, who are equally contributing in the quality education of girls of this University. I welcome the new entrants with a wish that they will be very productive and successful in their career.
