Description: Nanoparticles synthesis is one of the important aspects for practical application. The creation of semiconductor and metal nanoparticles may be applied to the advancement of novel technologies. They are typically synthesize using several kinds of hazardous chemical processes that are not good for the environment. We have described an extracellular, rapid, and simple method of reducing silver nitrate using onion (Allium cepa) extract. The nanoparticles were examined using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. According to the results of UV-Vis spectroscopy, the AgNP absorption band in aqueous solution peaked around 420 nm. The clinical isolates of Staphlococcusaureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiellaoxytoca, Enterobacter cloacae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were used to test the antibacterial activity of the synthesisedAgNPs. The results of this study showed that the creation of silver nanoparticles using onion extracts may have therapeutic applications against various pathogenic illnesses in humans.
