Vice Chancellor's Message

vice-chancellorThis year is very special, has brought happiness and encouragement among all in the University as the President of Pakistan has conferred Tamgha-e-Imtiaz to Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed in recognition of his hard and sincere efforts for the cause of education and especially for female population.

The history of development, across the globe, amply, demonstrates that education is the key condition for economic, social and political development. The human and social development in developing countries, establishes a direct relationship between female education.

The University constantly strives to build on its major fronts including Leadership, Innovative Entrepreneurship, Research and Training. Over the years, Jinnah University for Women has seen many transformation.

In all this, we have made every effort to be sensitive and compassionate to the marginalized and the people in need. This has been the unique character of Jinnah University for Women. It encourages the bright and talented students performing well. But when a week student progress from poor performance to better is the achievement of the institution.

The Jinnah University for Women founded by Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed (T.I) being the First and the only Women University in Private Sector in the country. The insight of Moulvi Sahib that women plays a vital role by contributing in good governance of a country, so being firm believer that women must be given equal opportunity of education.

The University has 04 Faculties; with Bachelor and Masters programs. Faculties are: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Business Administration, Commerce and Economics respectively. The BS 4 years and Masters 2 years program BBA, MBA in addition Pharm-D of 5 years is offered in respective departments of the Faculties.

Further, regular research activities are supported; thereby MS/M.Phil and Ph.D program is available in different departments.

I further acknowledge the sincere efforts of the learned Faculty for their dedication and hard work to make the teaching / learning process at the best.

I welcome the new entrants with a wish that they will be very productive and successful in their career.
