On 3rd September 2019, One day work shop of ‘chess” was organized by sports department. Workshop was conducted by Muhammad Wasif Nisar (Chess Organizer) along with his team. In this workshop he trained girls about how to play chess and how can you sharp your mind. His team members also gave basic information of chess. After that M.Wasif gave so many tricks and taught each and everything about chess. His team members played match in front of participants as a demo. After this participants also played the game. Team members were M Abdullah, Yasir Khan and Hassan Mehmood. In this workshop while addressing to participants M. Wasif said chess is one of the best game which can sharp your mind and gives you a better carrier in every field. He also said Jinnah University’s girls are active and very enthusiastic about this game. They really want to play. They are willing and also capable to do everything. In the end he said that university should provide different sports programs so girls can show their talent at all platforms.
