About the University

Established in 1998 under the umbrella of the Anjuman-e-Islamia Trust, Jinnah University for Women (JUW) was founded by Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed (T.I). The university has remained steadfast in its mission to support the intellectual and personal growth of women, nurturing future leaders with strong ethical foundations, cultural understanding, and religious values.

In alignment with this vision, JUBIC – Jinnah University Business Incubation Center was launched as a platform to empower aspiring female entrepreneurs. JUBIC aims to facilitate and guide students toward starting their entrepreneurial journey and generating women-led businesses that contribute meaningfully to society.

About JU-ERITA 2025

JU-ERITA 2025 is the first-ever university-wide exhibition and competition organized by JUW, offering an exciting platform for students and faculty to showcase research, innovation, and artistic expression. This one-day event will bring together groundbreaking ideas from various academic disciplines, celebrating creativity, technical prowess, and impactful solutions.

The event consists of two main competition categories:

1. Project Display Competition (Intra-Departmental)

This category offers students the opportunity to exhibit their innovative academic projects within their own departments. The goal is to foster creativity, technical knowledge, and research-oriented thinking among students.

• Each department will submit 8–10 student projects.
• The ORIC-JUBIC Selection Committee will evaluate and shortlist 4–5 top projects per department for the final round.
• These finalists will compete for the title of “Best Project of the Department.”
• Winners will be awarded prizes or shields as recognition of their outstanding work and contribution.

2. Innovative Idea Pitching Competition (Inter-Departmental Business Plan Contest)

This inter-departmental competition invites students to present original business ideas and entrepreneurial solutions in the form of well-structured pitches. The competition encourages real-world impact and visionary thinking.

• Health and Medicine
• Sustainability and Environment
• Social Impact and Community Development
• Arts & Culture
• Women Empowerment
• Green Energy

Departments are welcome to participate in multiple categories.
Winning ideas will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in the form of shields and certificates.

This competition is designed to inspire innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility—empowering students to take initiative in shaping a better future through practical and creative solutions.
