Jinnah University for women organized 2 days sports Gala with the sponsorship of “Due” beauty cream and “Habib cooking oil”. In this sports Gala faculty of Arts, Science, BBA and Pharmacy were participated. In this Gala Cricket, Throwball, Tug of war, Badminton, Chess, Scrabble, Table tennis were included. On the first day inauguration ceremony was held at 11: pm in which recitation of tilawat and Naat took placed. Rabia Shehzad (International weight lifter) and Mahoon Shehzad (International badminton champion) were Chief Guest .On the first day semi finals of all the games were held about 200 students participated in all the games. On the very next day finals of all the games were kept. Cricket’s final was held between BBA and Arts. In which Juveria Sami was caption of BBA and Hina Perveen was captain of Arts.BBA won the toss and selected to bat first. Mehwish Alam and Anita played good inning and scored 91 runs in partnership. BBA set a target of 91 runs. While Arts failed to score 91 runs. While, Maria player of Arts did splendid batting and titled as women of the match. In throwball game final between pharmacy and Arts took placed. Arts won the match with its splendid game. Chess final was held between Juveria (BBA) and Sehrish (Science).Sehrish won
the game. Scrabble and table tennis finals were also interesting. On other side JUW introduced badminton for the very first time and students participated in this game with keen interest. The final of badminton was very much interesting. In the end of event gifts and Awards ceremony was takes place. In which Chief selector of women cricket team Pakistan Jalal Uddin and international karate Champion kulsoom Hazara was chief guests.
