The 23rd Annual Convocation of Jinnah University (JUW) was held at Andalusian Banquets|Al-Hamra Hall, Zulfiqar Street #1 Phase 8 DHA Karachi, where 1,443 students were awarded degrees. A total of 44 outstanding graduates received gold medals and shields for excellence in Bs, MS, M Phil and. Ph. D programmers.
His Excellency Syed Nihal Hashmi Governor of Sindh attended the ceremony as chief guest and awards among the graduates. Addressing the students, he emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment, and confidence building, stating that educated women play a vital role in national development. He cited the examples of prominent women in Islamic history including Hazrat Khadija (RA) Hazrat Aisha (RA) and Hazrat Fatima (RA), highlining their contributions to trade, education and moral values. He remarked the future leader ship of Pakistan including figures like Fatima Jinnah, emerges from such institutions. The Governor also appreciated the leadership of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and Punjab chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
He credited Pakistan’s diplomatic progress to the leadership of prime Minister Shehbaz sharif and Field Marshall Asim Munir.
JUW Chancellor Wajeeh Uddin Ahmed congratulated the graduates, urging students to utilize their education for the country’s progress.
The event was attended by university management faculty members students and parents.
