GenZiety Awareness Session
The Department of Media Studies organized a GenZiety Awareness Session with BS 2nd Year students under the supervision of Ms. Hareem Shabbir. The session aimed to address the increasing mental health concerns among Generation Z, focusing on anxiety, its causes, and coping strategies. The event was enriched by the presence of Ms. Syeda Alisha Zehra,( fellow psychiatrist of brine clinic) Ms. Faryal Jhangir,( student counselor and behavioral therapist at aga khan school) and Ms. Sanena Zaheer(counselor at Endeavour academy) as special guests.

Opening Remarks
The session began with welcome notes, followed by Prof Dr dilshad zafar Dean of business and commerce introduction on the importance of addressing mental health challenges within educational spaces.

- Ms. Syeda Alisha Zehra discussed the impact of digital overload and modern communication pressures on Gen Z mental health.
