The 5th International Conference on Biological Research and Applied Science (IBRAS-2025), hosted by Jinnah University for Women, Karachi, successfully concluded on February 1, 2025. Supported by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and the university’s leadership, including Mr. Wajeeh Uddin Ahmed, Chancellor of Jinnah University for Women, and Prof. Dr. Naeem Farooqui, Vice Chancellor, the event attracted researchers from 13 countries, including the USA, UK, Turkey, China, Australia, and Canada. The inaugural session featured plenary talks by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ansar from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and Dr. Muhammad Naveed from University of Central Punjab, Lahore. The conference included 94 oral and 74 poster presentations, along with workshops on ELISA, Plant tissue Culture Technique, Nutraceuticals and AI in biological research. The closing ceremony was honored by Syed Amin Ul Haq , with Prof. Dr. Bawany expressing gratitude to the university’s leadership and organizing team for the event’s success.
