JIFT -2026

The Department of Food Science & Technology successfully organized JIFT 2026 – Jinnah Innovation in Food Technology Thesis Display, a two-day academic exhibition held on February 24 & 25 at the Exhibition Hall, Jinnah University for Women.

JIFT 2026 featured more than 55 innovative thesis projects, reflecting extensive research, product development, and practical applications in the field of food science and technology. Over 300 students actively participated, presenting research-driven products, sustainable food solutions, and value-added innovations that demonstrated both scientific depth and entrepreneurial potential.

A distinguished panel of industrial professionals attended as External Examiners, providing expert evaluation, constructive feedback, and valuable industry insights. Their presence strengthened the academic–industry linkage and ensured that the projects were assessed according to professional and market standards.

The event also included engaging product competitions, where outstanding projects secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. The creativity, analytical skills, and technical excellence displayed by the students were highly appreciated by faculty members and industry experts alike.

The dedicated efforts and mentorship of faculty members were recognized with tokens of appreciation for their continuous guidance and support. The students’ work reflected strong research competence, innovation, and a commitment to translating theoretical knowledge into real-world food industry solutions.

JIFT 2026 once again proved to be a remarkable milestone, fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and professional growth within the Department of Food Science & Technology.
