EVENT OVERVIEW
The medical camp was organized on 28-9-2024 by Faculty of Medical and Allied Health Science at University ground. The camp aimed to promote health awareness and provide basic medical assistance to students, staff, and other local community members. The camp was a one-day event.
Qualified healthcare professionals conducted various screenings including height,weight,BMI calculations, blood pressure measurements, vital test, Ultrasound scanning, Neuro exam, Flexibility test, Harvard step test, Physiotherapy Consultancy, Exercise Guidance, Lifestyle Modification Guide, Homeopathy awareness and importance, ROM, MMT, Biomechanics, posture analysis and various other tests.

A team of 50 plus students Department of Eastern Medicine, Physical Therapy and Homeopathy did an outstanding work and running the camp greatly.

Homeopathy: Skin Issue (100), Hair Fall Issue (60), PCOS (90), common cold, cough etc (50)
SERVICES OFFERED BY EASTERN MEDICINE:
- General Health Check-up: Basic health checks including blood pressure, weight, height, and BMI,BMD
- Cupping: Free
- Ultrasound: Whole Abdomen, Pelvis, KUB.
- Specialized Care: Consultations in dermatologist, gynecology, gastroenterologist, etc.
- Free Medicines: Dispensing of common over-the-counter medicines based on prescriptions.
SUMMARY OF KEY FINDINGS
- Common Health Issues: The majority of the patients presented with:
- Hypertension
- GIT
- Respiratory infections
- Skin diseases
- Menstrual disorder
- Referral Cases: Around 200 patients were referred for further treatment to specialized hospitals.

IMPACT AND FEEDBACK
- Patient Satisfaction: A feedback survey revealed that 100%of the attendees were satisfied with the services provided.
- Future Recommendations: Many attendees expressed interest in more frequent medical camps and the inclusion of diagnostic facilities like EYE OPD etc.
CONCLUSION
The medical camp was a success, providing essential health services to the Students, Staff and local community. The camp met its objectives of delivering healthcare, creating awareness, and identifying high-risk patients for further treatment. Further camps are planned to address ongoing community healthcare needs.
