The Guest Lecture on First Aid & CPR was successfully conducted at the Muhammad Uzair Auditorium, Jinnah University for Women. The session aimed to equip students with essential life-saving skills and knowledge required in emergency situations. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Maleeha Jawed, a healthcare professional with expertise in respiratory care and clinical practice.
The speaker emphasized the importance of immediate response during medical emergencies and provided detailed guidance on basic first aid principles. Special focus was given to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), including proper techniques to maintain breathing and circulation. Practical insights were shared to help students respond effectively until professional medical help arrives.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants clarified their queries and enhanced their understanding of emergency response techniques. Overall, the lecture achieved its objective of promoting awareness and preparedness among students.
