A distinguished delegation from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), accompanied by 50 eminent professors and social entrepreneurs, visited Jinnah University for Women (JUW) on 25th October 2025.
The visit was led by Mr. Syed Hussain Hyder, Senior Legal Expert, UNODC, and Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector, GIFT University. The delegation visited Jinnah University Business Incubation Center (JUBIC), where they interacted with the incubatees and learned about their innovative ventures. They later proceeded to the Zubaida Exhibition Hall to view the Research-Based Entrepreneurial Project Display.
The guests appreciated the creativity, research orientation, and entrepreneurial potential demonstrated by the students. The visit provided a valuable platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between academia and industry experts.
Chancellor Mr. Wajeeh Uddin Ahmed addressed the delegation, highlighting the university’s contributions toward women empowerment and sharing the legacy of Al Haj Molvi Riazuddin Ahmed , founder of JUW and father of Mr. Wajeeh Uddin Ahmed.
