Aims/objectives/purpose of event:

  • The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of drug bioavailability and bioequivalence studies, alongside hands-on training in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) technology.
  • This training aims to enhance the students’ and faculty members’ practical knowledge and skills in evaluating the pharmacokinetic properties of drugs and the methodologies for ensuring their quality and efficacy.

Department of Microbiology attended workshop on Drug Bioavailability/Bioequivalence Studies and HPLC Technology on May, 29-30 ,2024 at Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research PCSIR. Dr. Kanwal Abbassi  delivered lecture on “Fundamental Principles and Significance of Drug Bioavailability and Bioequivalence “ . Dr. Kauser Siddiqui presented topic on “HPLC Technology”.On second day of workshop participants were invited in the lab for Practical demonstrations and hands- on training sessions with HPLC equipments used in drug bioavailability/bioequivalence techniques .It was an in depth session on HPLC technology and its application in pharmaceutical analysis
