JUBIC is a Business Incubation Center in Jinnah University for Women that organized pitching competition for cohort 2024 on 6th & 7th March, 2024. Total 73 startups and projects were registered and 23 best startups and projects were selected to pitch their ideas infront of the panel. The panel included both academia and industry personnel that included Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, Vice Chancellor of SABS University, Prof. Dr. Arifa Bhutto, Director Technology Incubation Center, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Dr. Eram Abbasi, Director, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation development, DHA Suffah University, Mr. Saulat Hussain, Quality Assurance Manager, Metro Cash & Carry, Mr. Shahzad Paracha, Product Manager, Nisum Pakistan. Every group presented their unique and captivating business concepts to the judges. A variety of innovative and creative criteria were used to make the judgment. The certificates were given to the outstanding performers.
Innovation and creative thinking are two of the most important abilities in the technological world of today. Under the current conditions, this event gave aspiring engineers who are eager to learn and develop in the area of entrepreneurship a chance.
Students were able to learn about startups and business with great simplicity and passion thanks to this session. Students responded well to the events as a whole and were content with their newfound knowledge. After analyzing participant input, the coordinators received an excellent reaction.
