Description: This study aims to investigate the seasonal variation and quantify the abundance of microplastics at beaches across Pakistan. Through systematic sampling and analysis, we aim to assess the distribution, composition, and sources of microplastics in these coastal areas. This research will contribute to a better understanding of the extent of microplastic pollution in Pakistani beaches and provide valuable insights for developing effective mitigation strategies.
Socio-Economic Benefits: By shedding light on the extent of microplastic pollution in Pakistani beaches, this study aims to raise awareness and inform policy-makers about the urgent need for mitigating plastic pollution.
