Description: The agriculture of Pakistan is heavily dependent on synthetic agrochemicals to enhance plant growth and soil fertility, but the excess use of chemical-based fertilizers and pesticides causes a serious threat to the crop, soil, environment as well as human health by accumulating into the food chain. Group of Hemiptera pests are cosmopolitan sucking insects, and are exist as vector of plant diseases feed on fruit bearing plants, grains and other valuable crops and cause great economic losses. The present study focuses on cost effective and eco-friendly method to maintain economically important crop from hemipteran pests infestation and enhance crop pest resistance by applying plant based biopesticide.
